This is a shameless plug for Bible Study – So just hear me out…
As most of you know I have been involved in
BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) the last 4 years and a leader for the last 2 1/2 years. It is the most amazing bible study I have ever been apart of! BSF teaches you to study God’s Word in an indepth way and your relationship with the Lord will be enriched through indepth bible study. You will learn so much from the study and from the men or/and women in your class. The class is set up in
7 year cycles and therefore you study a different book of the bible every year. Also the class is set up with a
4-fold approach for studying the bible.
Last year we studied the book of Romans and I learned so much in that study! Well, we are starting a bible study on our team and I have been given the responsibility to head it up. My team has requested that we study the book of Romans! What a coincidence? I think not! A motto of BSF is “A season of preparation for a lifetime of service.” God has used BSF to prepare me and now I get to use what God has taught me and put it to good use. I know the class in Wilmington is starting on September 11th (the evening women’s class). And there are classes all over the world. If you are not involved I would encourage you to go. It will change your life and deepen your relationship with our great and mighty God! So GO and see! BSF is studying the book of Matthew this year and I know it will be a wonderful study.
To my class from last year and fellow leaders – I miss you guys (and I wish I was there to study Matthew with all of you) I will be praying that the Lord will grow up a mighty and strong class in Wilmington this year!
