We have started ministry in Pattaya with the Tamar Center. This ministry is very organized and very involved in the community here in Pattaya.

On Monday, Wednesday and Fridays they have Bible Study and they teach English to the women involved in prostitution. Also on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays they go into the bars at night to meet the women and invite them to the English classes. At the Tamar Center when the women leave prostitution they have a training center located on site to teach them skills. They have a bakery, coffee shop, hair salon and cardmaking center. They give the women skills and a job so that they can stay here or go home and get a job outside of prostitution. They also have a 3 month program for the women out of prostitution where they teach them the bible and English.
On Tuesdays we will be working with another ministry in town putting together packets with Chinese Bibles, The Jesus Film and more. And on Tuesday evenings we will be passing these out to the Chinese tourists that come to Pattaya. So that is an exciting ministry that we look forward to participating in. Also we will be working on Thursdays with the Slum ministry here in Pattaya. So we wll have a full ministry schedule but we are excited to jump in.
