This is what life can be like when you start to follow Jesus.
Guys, I’m not writing this last part to tell you the “do’s and don’ts” of being a Jesus follower, this is real life not the perfect life.
BUT
Start tomorrow, make your path straight, live an intentional consistent life.
Be a man or woman of your word, be a good employee, come to work with a smile.
Create a life of level living.
Make the way for others, be an example.
Love others well.
“Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” -Matthew 10:39
If you want to find a full life develop the habit of thinking about others, thinking about the community, seasons of life will make a lot more sense if we stop thinking individually.
Some of the challenges and difficulties we face is because we are connected to something that’s far bigger than yourself.
Once you begin to follow Jesus, sin won’t feel the same.
Once you let grace into your life, it’s not that you shouldn’t think about sinning, it’s that you stop thinking about yourself and you start thinking about God.
Life becomes less about you and more about Jesus. You become God-conscious.
As a Christian you will be given a new “I” … you become NEW.
You’ll have a new mind, new thoughts, and a new heart.
All of those things the Lord can renew. It’s not that you give your life to Jesus and everything is suddenly okay and perfect, the point is that you will never be alone when you go through struggles and different seasons in life.
You’ll always have a vision for life, a passion in life, some sort of direction and a constant companion.
The rest is just for you and God to figure out together.
