I don’t know about you guys but I LOVE FOOD. So here’s a blog dedicated to that..

Nepal: So I have found that this countries food is a fusion of Indian and Chinese food, which makes for quite the variety on the menu.. Here’s some of the food I have enjoyed..

Mo-Mos: aka DUMPS .. they serve them everywhere and every place you go they’re made differently HOW SICK IS THAT.

Noodles: aka chowmein, I have a new love for egg and veggie chowmein..

Radish/Root Curry with rice and lentils.. divine. This was a common meal for any time of day. We had it a lot when we visited our translators family in the mountains. Another staple was Egg Curry, which was exactly like this but instead of the rectangle looking things there were hard boiled eggs! (Sorry no pix)

A common “snack” for after church was this, chickpea curry on these rice crispy looking things. Pretty good when you mixed it all together!

Then the famous MAGGIE NOODLES. Aka Ramen, I’m not gonna lie, this was one of my favorite dishes and it was probably the cheapest to make.

Chicken Wrap: Chicken with peppers and onions and a spicy green white and red sauce wrapped in pita, both filling and cheap.

Thupka: aka Pho, noodles, broth, veggies and EGG. So good. Beyond words.

Chapite: fried spicy snack.. very common in Nepal, usually at street stands.

India: THE LAND OF EVERYTHING CURRY. Mostly vegetarian, no beef and there are utensils to eat with, all hands baby. And its only your right because your left is used when you don’t have TP WHICH IS EVERYWHERE. DON’T FORGET THE TP IF YOURE GOING TO INDIA.

Paneer: Cheese curd, my first love in India. Kind of has the texture of tofu.

Biriyani: SPICY chicken, usually served with rice. This is a common meal at most restaurants you go to. My first meal in India, my mouth was on fire!!
Chicken 65: Another spicy chicken dish, my second love in India.

Dol: kind of like a crepe (green in pic) filled with spices and sauce.. not my favorite but I ate it.
