We’ve been in Siem Reap, Cambodia for the past two weeks working with David and Lara Narita, two doctors from the States. They run a student center here as well as volunteering in a hospital. We’ll be here another two weeks and then we head back to Thailand for our second debrief. After that, we’ll have our first ATL month in Asia! I’ll post an update on where we’re headed as soon as I know.

The first week was mostly a week of getting a feel for the ministries here and finding our place. God has been showing up a ton in leading us to our ministries for this month. We’re all heading in different directions it seems. Some of us are teaching English at a community centre, some are teaching English to monks and others are teaching English in a school/orphanage here. We’ve also been going to a small village called Prasat Batchum outside of town three afternoons per week. We’ve been teaching the kids some English, doing Bible story lessons, singing songs and playing games. The kids in this village have stolen my heart. They are awesome! We’ve been doing a few service projects there as well and one of the women who run the village program does a small clinic there and some of us have helped with that. Also, Amy and Courtney have been teaching a cooking and karate class at the student center. We may do some other things with the student centre in the next two weeks (like a ping pong tournament!).

So, that’s a quick update of what Team Logos has been up to lately. I hope to post some more blogs about our time here soon. 🙂

FINANCIAL UPDATE:

I AM FULLY FUNDED!! WOO HOO!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
I really appreciate it so much! Your support is accomplishing much, both in ministry and in me. Thank you to those that have partnered with me in this World Race! If you still feel led to give, any extra funds in my account will be used to reimburse me for travel insurance and vaccinations at the end of the race (which would be a huge blessing to me). Again, I can’t say thank you enough. It is incredible to be able to focus on ministry and what God has for me here and not worry about support raising. Thank you!
