I am 21 years old and I’m currently studying Applied Math and Classics at Memorial University in Newfoundland but I grew up in Nova Scotia! I have a great family, which includes an older brother, Joe, and a twin brother, Ryan. My family is nominally Christian but we didn’t really talk about God when I was growing up. I became a Christian through a youth group my friend Sarah invited me to when I was thirteen. I was lucky to have a great youth pastor and friends who encouraged me and helped me to grow in my faith. In my last year of high school, I went on a missions trip to Tobago. It was my first experience with missions and I loved every minute of it!
Some random facts about me:
-I love Soccer. I like to watch it, play it or talk about it.
-I love being in coffee shops, and I love coffee.
-I pretty much live on smoothies and pita pizzas.
– I listen to music constantly, but I have no musical talent whatsoever.
-Stars amaze me.
-I love to cook for other people….or just for myself. whatev.
-I feel giddy in large bookstores because I love to read so much.
-I can pretty much quote Canadian Heritage moments from memory.
-I love being outdoors – hiking, running, swimming, biking, beaches, whatever.
-Adventures are sweet.
-I am a bit of a neat freak and I love to make to do lists. It’s so….satisfying.
