My name’s Courtney Jordan and God is doing some pretty cool things here recently! I hope that you will share in this excitement as I share with you what’s coming up in my life!
About two months ago, I was trying to figure out what my life is supposed to look like after I graduate college this upcoming May. After doors continually being shut, I was naturally so confused. Then it hit me: the world race.
The World Race is an 11 month long mission trip to 11 different countries. It involves getting out of your comfort zone to truly serve the least of these, all while spreading the love of Christ.
I have always thought, “Wow, this sounds SO cool…for someone else to do!”
And then God showed me how the World Race is what He has in store for me during this next phase of my life! I am so humbled. After much prayer and research, I am committed to going on the World Race. I know without a doubt that this is where God is leading me, and I could not be more excited about it!
I will be traveling to 11 different countries with a squad of around 60 young adults! Talk about some awesome community!!! My World Race route consists of going to the following countries: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Philippines, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe!
It’s always amazing when the Lord decides to do something that you never thought was possible, isn’t it?? He’s so good!
Next September, I will officially leave to go on the World Race! But, my journey truly starts RIGHT NOW!
I know that the Lord has called me to the World Race, therefore I know that He is faithful and will provide what is needed to make it happen!
With that being said, this is where you come in!!!
More than anything, I need your prayers and encouragement. The World Race is a huge commitment, yes, and I have been called to go. Pray for continuous trust in the Lord for myself as well as my squad.
Additionally, in order for this to happen, I have to fundraise $16,267. “Wow!!!” I know. It is a lot of money. That money covers all intercontinental travel expenses while on the race, food for each day, as well as medical expenses. I have many fundraising events planned over the course of the next 9 months that I am so excited about!
