Dear Family and Friends!!!
Great News!!! My
support goal of $15,800 for The World Race has been reached!!!!!!
The only thing I have left to raise is my plane ticket home to
California (my reimbursement allotment has reached with my other plane tickets, shots and insurance, so this would be coming out of my personal money). I don’t have any details on how
much this is going to cost yet. But, I will know roughly in the next two
months. Again, this plane ticket will be coming out of my personal checking
account, not my World Race account. If any of you feel led to support me
for my ticket home, please let me know. 🙂
My support money covers them flying me back to the states. We don’t
know the state that we land in yet, rumor has it it maybe Florida or
Texas. In that case, I would need to buy a ticket to California with
personal money.
Good news! We should be home around May 12, 2011!!
This is truly a blessing and great honor! Thank you, from the bottom
of my heart, for helping me reach this goal! You have all walked along
side of me in this journey and I know you will continue to walk with me
throughout the rest of the Race. I have gained so much strength from
having you all join me in this!
I am completely humbled by your graciousness and desire to give for
the cause of the Kingdom! You truly are sewing into the Kingdom and for
that I am beyond grateful. I know that this journey has come with some
sacrifice on your behalf financially, and prayerfully. Again, thank you!
It has not gone unnoticed. In fact, I find myself unsure of how to
thank you properly because I feel like what you have done for me is
completely priceless!!
Right now, I just finished country 8 of the Race! I have three more
countries to go! Can you believe it? I surely cannot! It has gone by
unbelievably fast. It has been somewhat of a Kingdom boot camp in these
past 8 months…and that is putting it lightly! Haha.
Because of your gracious heart, giving spirit and loving sacrifices,
I am able to witness God working in 11 different countries around the
world and share it with you!!! So far, in the past 8 countries, I have
found that God’s passion for all people is overwhelming (in a good
way!). I have seen God heal broken families, bring orphans into a home
where they got to experience true adoption, people healed of illnesses
and healed of emotional disturbances. I have seen God single-handedly
touch individuals life through prophecy and words of knowledge that left
them amazed at the intricate love of God. I have seen joy and laughter
come back into peoples lives who have been robbed of that joy and
laughter for years. I have seen concerts bring 30, 40, 50 people to
Christ!!! I have seen the Holy Spirit move in people who are held in
captivity by anger, bitterness, jealousy, and addiction. I have seen
homeless people find peace in the Lord regardless of their circumstance.
I have seen lady boy prostitutes cry from being touched by the love of
God, people delivered from demon possession, enemy strongholds on land
released, and much much more.
Personally, I have learned a deeper love from the Lord, a new level
of intimacy with God, what it means to be a leader that empowers others,
what culture of honor looks like, the value of living in community, a
desire to see into the Heavenly realms, what it looks like to love
people of all different cultures and beliefs, how to show Jesus to
people when they have never once heard his name, how to be culturally
sensitive, how to listen better, how to love through feedback and
challenging words, how to get lower to receive from the Lord and how to
serve relentlessly. I have also learned how to stand strong in faith
when fear is trying to overwhelm me, how to battle in the spirit in the
middle of the night, how to discern evil spirits in a place and much
more!
It’s because of you and God’s provision and love through you, that I
have been able to experience all of these things. May all the glory be
to God!! I can’t wait to see you all in person to tell you story after
story after story of what God did on the Race!!!! His love is so
endless!
Good news is I still have 3 more months left of learning, pressing
in and dying to myself..and then we all know that learning, serving each
other, seeking God’s face and dying to myself continues even after the
Race! More to learn after the Race too!
I would love to meet up with you when I get home and thank you
personally for your investment in my life and in God’s Kingdom!!
