We leave in a few days for Siem Reap, Cambodia and I realized we may not have as great of internet. So, here are a few more pictures from this month!
Step Ahead is the ministry we have been working alongside. They are a micro-financing organization to help get people out of poverty and prostitution. We lived upstairs! It was so lovely being able to walk down stairs and see the women working away. They would often teach us how to make the purses along with them!
This is what the factory looks like! These are a lot of the purses that the women have made. There are like 10 women and one man that make things bags. They are made with real and/or fake leather. They’re amazing!
Our team with the Step Ahead women! They dressed up to do a traditional Thai dance at one of the Christmas parties. Aren’t they beautiful?! We got to do their makeup too! Moan (front and center) is the Boss Lady. She’s great!
Fish!!!!!!! YUM YUM YUM!!!!! Thai people really know how to eat every part of this fish without swallowing any bones. I am always afraid I am going to swallow so I eat verrryyy carefully! haha
