Lady Boy…tonight was the first time I have ever heard this name before. The nickname “Lady Boy” is a coined term that is used for men that are prostituting themselves. These men, however, don’t necessarily look like men because they have had a sex change or dress like a woman. Most of them are gorgeous!!! Many sex tourists can’t even tell the difference between a Lady Boy and a woman prostitute.
Tonight, my team and I partnered with Sherri and Craig (Canadian missionaries who have given their lives to serve in Thailand indefinitely) to street evangelism by treasure mapping. Treasure mapping is a prophetic evangelism technique to get your foot in the door to speak into peoples lives what we feel God is saying about them. So, we pray, and then write down anything the Lord puts on our hearts..it must be descriptive. For example, I got “diamond ring”, “t-shirt with ‘I <3 Mom’ on it”, someone else got “rectangle glasses”, “Indian”, etc.
So, we set out on the town looking for these types of things. When we find them on a person, we go and talk to them. We ask God if he has anything to say to them (he always does) then we speak that to them. At that point people either are willing to listen to what we have to say or they start balling because the Lord is touching them in a way they weren’t expecting.
I had the amazing opportunity tonight to talk to a beautiful Lady Boy who was selling herself on the street. My teammate Jenny had “short blonde hair that’s soft” on her paper. This Lady Boy had that hair!! So, I stopped Jenny and asked if she would come talk to her with me. We did and it was the most beautiful thing. The only reason I call her by “Lady Boy” is because that is how she introduced herself to me. I could tell she felt convicted yet comfortable because they don’t usually like to call themselves that considering they are trying hard to be a woman. God spoke many things to her…”I see you”, “I have not forgotten you”, “You are beautiful”. She started to cry. As tears flowed down her face, myself, Jenny and Sherri spoke truth and love over her and told her what we felt God was saying to her. She definitely received it and said she wanted to come to church with us.
We prayed with her and I hugged her. We hugged for a solid few minutes. I just hugged her until she chose to let go. I wanted her to know that someone wants to hug her and touch because is a daughter of the King, not a sex object. She received it. Then Jenny hugged her and again she held on for a while. Beautiful lady just needed love and her Father’s touch.
She received it tonight!! AMEN! Praise God!!!
This is a pic of us on “walking street”. This street is filled with women and men who NEED to know their Father in Heaven’s love. They are seeking love and money and have no idea how much God loves them. We need to tell them!!
