Hey Everyone!
I just wanted to update you on a few things….
1) I leave for Africa for 3 months starting September 6th. We will be in Kenya, Uganda and a third country which is unknown. This means that my communication with you guys will be poor. I pray that the Lord will bless us with access to internet, but I am hearing stories that internet in Africa is hard to come by. So, you may only be getting a blog from me once a month. Maybe more if we are lucky 🙂 But this also means skype will be once in a blue moon too. I tell you this to prepare you so you don’t stress out and I don’t stress out about trying to be in touch when Africa doesn’t allow me. Of course if any thing was really wrong you would hear from AIM. So, NOT HEARING anything from AIM is a GOOD sign! haha.
2) Please be praying that the Lord protects us from Malaria and any other disease or illness we can contract there. I am hearing stories of people healing of serious malaria and then I turn around and then hear that another person is diagnosed with malaria. It is clear that the enemy doesn’t want us to have victory. But, we all know the VICTORY IS ALREADY OURS! Amen?! So, pray with me specifically for two people: My teammate Kim’s sister whose name is Rachel just got diagnosed with malaria. Also, another girl on one of the squads just got diagnosed with cerebral malaria. Please pray for both of these women to be healed. We know that God can do this. It’s his time to shine once again. All the glory goes to God for these healings. So agree with me please that they will be healed and that the Lord will cover the rest of us.
(I say these things not to scare you but to agree with me in prayer and watch the Lord do miracles before our eyes!! God is an Awesome God!)
3) I love you all a lot! I am having the time of my life and learning so much. Pray for strength, courage, boldness, health, and many encounters and miracles from the Lord during these next three months in Africa. I proclaim favor, health, miracles, victories, protection, boldness, lives to be transformed, the heavens to open up, encounters with the living God in the Name of Jesus! Proclaim these things with me!
4) Team changes will be announced on September 3rd. Pray that the Lord will bring us all together quickly so we can go into Africa being strong and ready for battle!
YOU ALL ARE WONDERFUL! I do have so many thoughts I want to share with you there is just little internet time to get it all up. I am also finding it hard to get my experiences into words to please forgive me!
