How lavish is the love of Christ!!!

My squad and I just entered into Romania. Our squad leaders decided to give us 2-3 days to hang out and catch up with each other before we left for our Romania ministry month. So, the other team leaders and myself decided that we would take a bus into downtown Romania to spend some time together.

As we sat and chat, the conversation got real very quick. We began asking ourselves….

“Why do we wait for miracles to happen in Ireland at the Awakening Conference or Africa???” “Why aren’t we trying to heal the sick, prophecy over people, and see God’s miracles right here, right now?
The conversation even entailed many saying that they had never experienced things like that before but they are open and ready for God to move in their lives that way and they can’t wait for it to happen.
Well, after our nice chat, we left our resting grounds and began our trek back to the bus station. As we walked to a desert store we passed a woman holding a sign. She was asking for money in order to get treatment for the cancer she had been diagnosed with. She even had her doctor paperwork with her proving she had cancer and a herniated disk in her back.
We saw her and kept walking.
We were about to leave the desert place and one of our fellow leaders piped up and said something along the lines of, “Hey guys, I don’t claim to hear from the Lord, but I really think we need to go and prayer for that woman with cancer.” Another person squeeled, “THANK YOU! ME TOO!”. So the men took off to go prayer for her and the women grabbed her some desert before going over for prayer.

The power of the Lord was upon us. I could feel the power of His presence

Weren’t we just talking about this with each other? Weren’t we just asking each other why we often chose silence and complacency rather than courage and boldness? Weren’t we just asking each other why we wait for Africa or for conferences to step out of our box? Thank you Lord for swiftly correcting our hearts and redirecting our steps.

Isaiah 53:5 says “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we ARE healed.”

We took authority, proclaimed healing over her body! We prayed or restoration of her heart and mind. She wept as we embraced her and prayed life into her. We later fasted and continued praying for her healing and are believing through scripture that it has been done.

We don’t know if we will ever see her again. But we are praying for Mariana and that her healing took place in that moment. She believes in Jesus which we were excited to hear. Even if she goes home to Heaven tomorrow, at least she knows that the Lord not only notices her but knows exactly who she is!

How awesome was it that the Lord heard the desires of our heart and gave us an opportunity to step out in faith and learn! Amen God!
