So I’m sitting on a plane watching the little airplane on my screen get closer and closer to India. Im a little bored because we have been flying for about 7ish hours and we still have 7 and a half to go just to get to Delhi for a hopefully quick stop to refuel, then another 6-7 hours to Hyderbad. So I figured this would be a good time as any to write my blog about launch since I have been trying to write since yesterday and as far as I got was to write the title.

On June 26th I left Canada and headed to Atlanta with my parents, brother, and grandparents to WR Launch. For those that don’t know what WR Launch is, let me tell a brief overview. It is a 24 hour period in where parents can meet staff, coaches, other parents, and their racers team and squad. This time it ran, from Sunday lunchtime to Monday lunchtime. Sunday night parents and racers joined together and had worship time and heard a small but powerful massage. Because my family and I arrived on the 26th which was Friday night, we had time on Saturday to do a bit of sightseeing. It just so happen to be a thunderstorm and raining cats and dogs, so we went to Georgia’s Aquarium. Cool place to visit.
Before I left on the 26th I had the task to pack what I wanted and needed for 11 months into 1 big pack and 1 day pack. I thought since I pack for training camp without too much problem that it shouldn’t be too much harder to pack for the actually thing. Yay! Right! By the time I got to my parents hotel I knew that there was no way I was going to be able to carry all my stuff because everyone else had something that belong to me. I spent the next couple days taking things out and re packing my pack over and over again. With my brothers help I believe I have my bag at an ok weight for now.
Having this time with my family was awesome. I had fun and had lots of laughs despite of the rainy weather. During lunch together on Monday all racers said good bye to family. Emotions and blessings moved through out the hotel as each person went their separate ways. After parents left racers had a couple more days of training and worship.
Over the last few days God has shown me that no matter the thoughts rolling around in my brain, this is where I need to be, at this point just the way I am. I’m going to be shaped in a new way and that fear is a wall that can be easily broken with God on my side.
Please pray for my team and squad as we spend this month in India. Please also keep in your prayers R and U squads as they are also travel to their first months in South Africa and Albania.
Until Next Time.
