I'm kind of known for my countdowns. (My close friends are laughing right now.) There is rarely a day when I'm not counting down to something, whether it's seeing certain friends, spring break, summer, camp, the Race. The list goes on and on. I'm always counting down.
While it's great to have something to look forward to, there are times when I forget to enjoy the moment. I so often forget to just live wherever I am at that time. Looking forward to specific, monumental events is great, but if it hinders what happens right now, there's a problem.
How often do we do this with Christ? How frequently do I take a back seat in ministry in my present moment because my opportunities for ministry at camp or on the WR are coming?
Ephesians 5:15-16 "Be very careful, then, how you live — not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil."
Are you making the most of every opportunity?
