I’ve been in Czech Republic for 6 days now. We are staying in
an attic apartment just around the corner from the Charles Bridge. This month
is an “Ask The Lord or ATL month. Our team has already found a few ministries
to plug into here, but we also have left some time open for asking God to lead
us to whatever He has for us. It is amazing how we have been able to jump right
in with the ministries that are already here.  On Sunday, I arrived at church and before walking in the
front door I was asked to teach Sunday school for 6 energetic boys.  Five minutes later, we were singing
songs and then acting out the story of David and Goliath.

With Prague being such an expensive city to live in our
budget has been tight. My teammate, Amanda, decided to ask the owner of the
Mexican restaurant down stairs (below our apartment) if she could help out there
in exchange for a meal for our team. It turned out that the family who owned
the restaurant was struggling a bit, since the husband has been sick and unable
to spend much time helping at the restaurant. Now, Amanda and Victoria are
helping out Tuesday through Saturday and our team has 6 delicious, filling meals a
week. (Our other meals are World Race style: mostly PB & J or ramen
noodles.) What a wonderful blessing!

I want to say a special thank you to everyone who made
donations and prayed for my support these past few weeks. My support deadline
is October 15th, which leaves 4
days to raise the remaining $286.
Please continue to pray and to help me meet the deadline, so I can finish the
last month and a half of the Race.
