We arrived in Brisbane, Australia and had a day and a half
before we could get a train to get us to the bus that would get us to Byron
Bay. So, on my day off I went with some friend’s from another team to the Koala
Sanctuary and had the pleasure of petting a koala.

Fact of the day: Koala’s are not bears, but Marsupials.
I also got to pet some kangaroos and hear a kookaburra
laugh. On the way back to the house (30 of us were so generously staying at for
free) we met a guy from Canada and I was able to share a bit about how God lead
me to Australia. You can’t stop me from working on my day off I guess.
