After 11 months of traveling the world to serve the Lord on a mission trip called the World Race, I am excited to share with you what I have been called to next!
I NEVER thought I would be going somewhere else so soon, but God has a great sense of humor (he also has a better plan than I do, that’s for sure). So, without further adieu… for four weeks beginning in August I will be heading to Antigua, Guatemala to learn Spanish at the Christian Spanish Academy!
Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to engage with, teach, and love on children in many places around the world and I am sure that my future as an educator will be one of the ways the Lord uses me for his Kingdom. While traveling, the Lord reminded me of and confirmed my passion for Spanish and for Teaching English as a Second Language. I cried actual tears many times thinking about my future as a teacher and the incredible opportunity I have to make a lasting impact on my students. Although I am not sure what my life will look like afterwards, I am positive that this is what the Lord has called me to next. I know that as I continue to take steps in obedience that he will continue to lead and guide me into a seemingly crazy, but completely fulfilling future.
I am excited and passionate about this new step, and hope that you will continue to pray for and support me as I follow the Lord’s call.
