“The World Race? What’s that?”
This is a question I’ve received countless times and have not had enough time or resources to answer.
And so here are the answers to the questions big or small.
So, what will you actually do?
- build a house
- teach english
- care for orphans
- dig holes
- worship with compete freedom and utter abandon
- preach and pray door-to-door, hut-to-hut, and dorm-to-dorm
- feed the hungry
- befriend teenage prostitutes
- encourage pastors and missionaries around the world
- heal the sick
- pioneer a ministry
- hear God’s voice
- repair broken homes, families, and hearts
- meet felt needs
- visit people in prison
- yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit
Each day is gonna be different. Some days my feet and mind won’t stop moving and other days I will be at rest. Just like I would at home. Some days are work days, some days are rest days. The difference is that every single thing that happens will be centered around our very Creator.
Whatever the task I will be following nothing but the commands of The Lord, trusting that His kingdom is being advanced.
You see, what I’m doing is hard. While it will be the greatest experience of my life, it will also be a faith stretching journey.
The race will change me in many different ways. Like how I see myself, how I relate to the Lord and others, and how I see and engage the world. It is going to be the most real and raw adventure of my life.
How much is it? And what does the cost cover?
I will be gone 9 months and the total cost is 12,487.50
It covers my food, lodging, and travel. Also covered are administrative, coaching, and training costs.
Thanks for checkin’ out what I’m doing! If you feel called to help support me in my financial endeavor please feel free to donate under the support me tab on the left of the screen.
May the Lord be ever present in your lives and guide you step by step in this adventure we call life.
