Guess what?! We had team changes again at debrief. Let me introduce my new and wonderful team with you. I had the honor of keeping David as my leader, Mickey and Taralah and lost Nathaniel and Renee. Renee was raised up to a team leader, I'm very proud of her. I'll miss them both. Now I have Jake back from my first team, Channele and Jordan.
Let me (re)introduce my new team.
Team Shekinah which means the divine presence of God in Hebrew. We carry the presence of the Lord with us wherever we are.
Channele Givargis – From California, and one of the first people I made friends with at Camp. She's bubbly and full of life. She has a beautiful singing voice and always someone I can count on. Since Camp I've been hoping to be on the same team with her! She's a fierce woman of God who hears directly from the Lord.
David Gardner – from Florida and a very proud Gator along with being my team leader for the past 6 months. He's a fearless leader who's been there for me through some really bad times. He's fun to be around and easy going. He's a man of God who loves children.
Jake Schmitt – my Canadian little brother. Formally together on Beautiful Feet so we already know each other very well. He's a man of honor who I trust greatly. He's funny and knows how to have a good time.He's a man of God who hears His voice. He will forever be my big little brother.
Jordan Fath – from Indiana! Oh yeah! Plus she graduated from Purdue! Oh yeah!! She's one of the very first people I ever met before Camp with Renee. She's full of life and fun to be around. She's a woman of God with a voice of an angel that the Lord uses.
Mickey Wingrove – from Wisconsin and my former teammate. He kind of looks like Wolverine which is also his favorite Superhero. He's my biker big brother who protects us girls better than anyone else. He hears from the Lord and doesn't hesitate when the Spirit tells him to act.
Taralah Neff – from Portland, OR and my former teammate. She's full of fun and laughter. Her friends character is Phoebe which I think says a lot. She's loyal and fun to be around. She's a warrior woman of God and always there to fight for and with you.
I'm proud to call these 6 people, my family. I love them all dearly and I'm excited for what the Lord is going to do in and through us as a family.
Just to give you a summery of what we are doing this month.
We are working with a church this month, Pastor Joseph. We are doing a lot of door to door evangelism, visiting hospitals and teaching the adults in the church various things such as budgeting, communication and sanitation.
