What a crazy amazing month!! God showed up in ways that I'd been longing to experience for quite a while. I'd heard stories of healing and even experienced it at camp when Renee got healed. I desired more than anything to be used by God to heal others and for my own body to be healed.
Before camp my friend Anjuli prayed over me to receive the gift of healing. I was excited and ready to put it into action. Since then I've been prophesied over the fact that I have healing hands and that God is going to use me in that way. Throughout the Race I've been praying for people to be healed and nothing has happened. I was on my face crying before God begging Him to heal my dearest friend Liz since day one. Hasn't happened yet but IT WILL!
When I moved to team Somewhere Beautiful, I started getting horrible knee pain and didn't know why. So bad that I couldn't bend my knees at all without crying because of the pain. Come the end of Cambodia/beginning of Vietnam I was once again on my face asking God why do I have this pain. He told me that I'd been asking for more of Him and He feels the pain of His children because He loves them so much. He's giving me more discernment and intercessory to the point of feeling pain (physical and emotional) for other people. He started giving me dreams and visions for my brother Mickey, while feeling his pain. Every time I'd have pain it was a reminder to pray for Mickey and the Lord had told me that he would be healed. After praying my pain would go away and if ask Mickey if he'd been in pain and it was always yes. Well it finally happened!! This month my dear big brother Mickey has been healed and won't need knee surgery when he gets home!!
Also, this month Renee got healed of her wheat allergy!! It's been something that as a team has been praying for since day one. She's eating cookies, bread, and all the wheat she wants! It had its ups and downs though. Satan attacking her making her sick and causing doubts. One day Satan was attacking hardcore to the point of needing to stay home and I was already taking that day off too. Pastor had us all pray over her before they left for the day. With my left hand on her stomach and my right on her neck I begin to pray in the Spirit and declaring things over her body. Afterwards she told me my left hand was so abnormally hot in temperature which I get super hot and shaky when I'm filled with the Spirit. Pastor tells us to take communion some time today. 5 minutes after the team leaves Renee tells me that she's fine! Praise the Lord! Later on we took communion together. She hasn't had major issues since. Now that we are with the whole squad she's able to tell everyone about what God did and since she's been speaking that out even more the enemy can't get in! She's healed and excited!!
Couple nights ago at one of our sessions the Spirit was moving in a mighty mighty way! Renee stands up and shares what happened to her and some of the things we've experienced this last month. She says the Lord wants to do more healing and we start praying over specific parts of the body. Brandon says who has back pain? (if you don't know I have many things wrong with my back, herniated my disc few years ago plus I have an extra vertebrae plus the bones on my spine are stacked when you should have a space between them so in other words I have back pain 24/7 but sometimes it gets really bad and it's nothing that I did to make it happen it just happens) I didn't say anything. People were calling out other people's names and next I hear my fearless leader Davids voice call out my name. Brandon asks for specifics, I tell him. They start praying over me and I'm getting so hot and sweating that you'd think I just worked out! After they are done Brandon asks me how I feel and to test my back by moving it in crazy ways.My lower back was on fire from the Spirit touching me!! Y'all I'm telling you what the Lord has healed my back and I haven't had any pain since then!!!
I mentioned Liz in the beginning who had to go home for medical reasons. She is going to the Mayo Clinic for a few days of tests on her brain. Starting on June 7th I will be fasting for two weeks and the last three days only juice and water. I desire more than anything for this woman of God to be healed of all that is wrong with her. I believe that it's going to happen!! Join me in prayer for her healing these next two weeks!
