it's (drum roll please)……..
WOMAN – ISTRY MONTH
What does this mean? Well it means that the men and women are separated for the whole month. The women are in four different teams and the men in two teams. Since my leader is David who is clearly a man is off with the men so he's been temporarily replaced for the month by Miss Renee Durham!! We are with four other women this month from Jeremy's team.
This month we are with another team (Alyssa's team and Brandon's girls) staying at YWAM in Penang which is an island! How cool is that? While we are here we have several things on our schedule so we split it up between the two teams so that we can experience everything. Right now, my team is currently working at the hospital selling puppy coin purses to raise money for their heart fund that gives free heart surgeries to children who's families can't afford them. We take the guitar around singing worship songs and making up our own new puppy songs. Next we will be working at a soup kitchen for addicts and going to a blind community. Not sure what that looks like just yet. Wednesday nights we will be working with Human Trafficking…. tomorrow is our first time doing that. I'll let you know how that goes.
This month is all about who we are as women of God and worship! We are entering into a level of worship that we've never experienced before and it's amazing!!!
Guess what?!?! AIM has given us an extra week to make our deadline!! I need $700 more to make this deadline!! Would you please help!!! if I don't make it they WILL SEND ME HOME!!! Please help me out! Thank you all for your support and prayers! I couldn't do this without you!
