Expectations on the race are different for everyone…. We are trained to not have expectations. Because expectations always lead to disappointment and failure. We put a lot of expectations on God in our daily lives whether you're in America, Cambodia, India, Kenya or Ireland it doesn't matter your location on the globe. EVERYONE HAS THEM!!

Coming into the Race and after talking to world race alumni MOST of us had/have expectations on seeing God heal people. Knowing the authority that Christ has given us, we expect/hope God will use us to heal people. For me, I'd operated in the gift of healing once before the Race so I had different expectations because I knew and understood how it works. I went 4 months without someone being healed or God using me to heal people. That was really hard for most of us. When you're expectations are to see lame men walk, blind to see, deaf to hear, fevers to be broke and pain no more! And you don't see it, you get discouraged.  I was in the boat of discouragement.

Last night in Bangkok before coming to Cambodia Renee shared with us that she had an ulcer and it was giving her great pain. In that moment we laid hands on her and prayed for healing, praying in the authority that Christ has given us to heal our sister. I'm excited to say that Renee was our first healing!!! The Lord healed her body and she hasn't had any issues since and can eat ALL the spicy food she wants!! PRAISE THE LORD OUR HEALER!!!
As most of you know, Nate has been very sick the last few days or so. We were fearful that he hada fever. You get it from a mosquito bite, you start with what looks like a heat rash, nausea and fever and it gets into your blood to where you'll need a blood transfusion. David stayed in the city to take care of Nate while the rest of us came home. That night we went to worship with the kids. There they asked if they could pray for Nate and Mickey led the room in prayer for healing. After that we went home, turned on some worship music and interceded for Nate. We have now had our second healing on our team!! Praise the Lord!!! David is bringing Nate home today just in time for the Valentines Day festivities we have planned!

Abba Father, we give you all the glory and all the honor for the healing you did in Renee and Nate's lives! We praise you for that! We know that you are the Great Physician, you're the HEALER of all things. I thank you Lord for the work you have done and will continue to do! I love you Abba!
