Training Camp….. hmmm lol so much to tell you all It's only been a few days and I’m having the time of my life. I’m going to share with you a little about what has been going on these first few days.
To my future racers a few tips and info on what to expect and not to expect
· You’ll have a Great Time!
· Building of great and wonderful lifelong relationships
· Amazing Spirit-filled worship
· You’ll eat and sleep well 😉
· If you are a planner get over it lol like seriously
· Final one I want to share with you….. DON’T HAVE EXPECTATIONS!!!!
Every Training Camp is different for every squad!
Here’s a small bit of my story over the last few days……
First “part” of training camp kind of started Friday night for some of us, (Kelly, Leanna, Tressa, Alyx, Kayla, Renee and Jordan) all rode together and stayed the night at Renee’s house. We all bonded so well!! We left bright and early for our 8ish hour drive to camp. The car ride was an amazing way to start the trip! We got to know each other so well!! We shared with each other our stories, laughed, cried and danced together…..and that was just the car ride : )
Arrival was awesome…..getting to physically hug the people you’ve been talking to for so long…. WONDERFUL! It’s only been three days and it feels like it’s been two weeks. I’ve built and formed great and new relationships with my squad mates. I’ve come to love them all, in such a short time. We have unified in such wonderful ways. I’m not going to lie, I had fear that some of us would not get along. He took that fear completely away. Our Squad leaders have even expressed that they’ve never seen a squad so unified before. It’s funny because I’ve blogged about unity before in the church and ALL of us come from very different backgrounds and it DOES NOT MATTER!!!! It’s something I can’t even describe, I just know that it is a wonderful and beautiful thing God has done through us in the very beginning.
I SAY – “B” SQUAD. YOU SAY BEST SQUAD!
See you all soon only a few days left and we don’t want to leave. God has been amazing out here : )
