I’m trying to take this one day at a time…right now I am searching for temporary work to cover the bills until January and provide the needed funds to purchase some of the World Race materials I need. However, God has placed some very generous people in my life.
My dear grandparents, who are allowing me to live in their home until I leave (on top of the million other acts of kindness they show me) have done so much to help me out, and given so graciously to me in so many ways. Also, my parents are allowing me to use much of their hiking gear for the 11 month journey, saving me time and money in preparing for this trip. Adding to these people, all those who have expressed genuine interest in my endeavors and have requested to receive more information have strengthened my faith and determination in times when fear and doubt threatened to bring me down. I am so thankful for the love, encouragement, and many forms of support people have shown me.
