Dude, it's our last month.
What the crap is that?
Remember that one time in India?
Alright.
So I'm sittin here sippin my coffee,
feeling inspired but having no idea what to say.
So I guess I'll start with this:
I freaking love all of you.
Y'all are such a stone cold pack of weirdos
and I wouldn't trade these last 10 months for anything.
Month 11 is still pending assessment 🙂
Haha but seriously.
Its month 11.
Yes, it's finally here.
So now were faced with a choice.
We can stand and press in for these final days,
or we can throw in the towel.
And I know, some of you might be sitting there rolling yours eyes thinking,
"Seriously Courtney?"
Yup.
Serious as my need for coffee.
I think it's safe to say that we're all sick and tired of feedback, right?
I mean, after 300ish days of it, it's getting old.
(Although I'm thinking if we divide by 2 and subtract 37 and add 13, that might be close to the actual number of feedack times we've had. 🙂 And yes, that's a full-proof formula concocted by yours truly).
So, then, what do we do?
Just give up?
Say screw it and just chill for 20 more days?
We haven't gone through ten months just to quit now.
Thats not who we are.
And not to be captain obvious,
but we're never gonna get this again.
Ever.
And as if we're not screwed up enough already,
or as Seth Barnes would say wrecked for the ordinary,
were gonna be even more so when we get home.
Dont start living under the impression that when you get home everything is just gonna be happy-go-lucky.
It might be for a while,
but eventually that's gonna wear off and you're gonna be like,
"What the hell do I do with my life and everything I've just seen?"
Maybe you're sick and tired of your teammates.
Maybe someone hurt you,
but you're so sick of feedback that you're just sitting in bitterness over it.
Maybe ______________.
The list goes on and on.
Question is, who are we gonna be?
Do we wanna look back and say, "I wish I'd given more?"
Or do we wanna reflect on our journey and say with the upmost confidence,
"I gave it everything I had"?
What we put in now will affect what were willing to put in when we get home.
If we aren't willing to go all in now, what makes us think we will when we get home?
So do we wanna be known as a bunch of weenies?
Or do we wanna be known for being radically sold out for Jesus and going all in?
I don't know about you, but that's the F squad I know.
So don't quit now.
Dont quit when you get home.
Dont quit five years from now.
Dont quit when everything's against you.
Dont quit when you lose everything.
Dont quit-period.
If you don't quit, you'll win.
Love you guys!
