Team changes.
I used to be totally freaked out by the idea.
The old me ran away from the thought.
Once I got comfortable with one group of people,
Why would I want to be vulnerable all over again with new people?
But by the grace of the Lord,
I’m stoked on the idea.
Junk is AWESOME!
And when you pour it out to new people,
It means new perspectives!
And with that, I give you:
The Cheetah Girls.
The only all girl team on F squad.
Girl power!
Haha ok, the Cheetah Girls thing was a joke.
Most of us love to sing, so we just kind of nicknamed ourselves.
Also in the running for team names we had:
Little Debbies
Celibate Sisters
Panting Deer
JChunnydollz
But we figured everyone else would too jealous of any of those names, so we went with Newsong.
At first, I was hesitant about the idea of having all girls on the team.
I got so used to having the boys around!
There’s definitely a whole different dynamic.
But I know the Lord is going to do incredible things,
And we’re gonna be able to go deeper in a new way.
So Kenya, look out!
The Cheetah Girls are hittin’ you up!
