We all have one.
A Kingdom dream.
Something we desire to do with our lives
that will speak of the Kingdom of heaven.
I suppose I have a lot of them, like starting a ministry
that focuses on all types of abuse.
Abd I know that with God on my side,
that will happen.
During team time one day, Aubree spoke crazy life and encouragement over me.
She said, "you keep talking about how you want to be in a band,
but that you have to know the right people for it to become the real deal."
Then she reminded me of what my teammate Grayson said:
"you've got Jesus."
Hmm.
Well I seemed to have missed a major one there.
Aubree continued and said "that is your Kingdom dream, so pursue it!"
Alright. So…I'm reallt doing this? I've written so many songs in the past,
but to be honest, I've never really liked them.
I'm working on sone now though… and I think I finally foun the style I like!
I absolutely love music, and I love to write.
And ever since I first learned about Barlow Girl,
I wanted to jam for my God.
I thought it'd be stellar to be the drummer (shout out to Lauten Barlow) because man…
I love my drums.
But the more I think about it, I kinda want to sing.
Not to be the spotlight,
because the spotlight doesnt matter.
But I just love to sing praises to my God.
So, here goes I guess. While on the race, I'll draw inspiration for songs.
Seems like the perfect place to me.
And when I get home, we'll see what takes off.
After all,
I've got the biggest rock star in the world on my side.
