Kingdom.
What is it?

Well, remember that beautiful lady I talked about in the last post? Let me tell you what she did for us. When we came to visit her the second time, she was overjoyed. You could just tell that Papa had done something in her. So she laid out a straw mat for us to sit on. And now comes my favorite part: she brought us chairs! Yes, Nepali chairs as our ministry contact called them. It was a piece of plywood, about 1 1/2" thick and about a foot long. She brought out 3 for the rest of my team members so they wouldnt have to sit on the ground. Isn't that great?

Now, I imagine many of you are reading this and thinking, "what the heck is this girl talking about? They were pieces of plywood. I would hardly call that a chair."

Hate to break it you, but that's Kingdom. And the way we respond is extremely important. According to the worlds standards, I suppose saying that it wasn't a chair is accurate. Because when we look through the eyes of the world, we can't even begin to see the true beauty behind everything.

But we who are born again no longer belong to the world. In the same way, we must strive to put on spiritual eyes that we might see the Kingdom of heaven on earth.

And yes, we can see the Kingdom in a piece of plywood. All we have to do is look.
