Hello Family and Friends

Hello friends and family

I have been in romania for all most a week now. We have been doing some training here and then my team will be traveling by train to our ministry site in Bulgaria on Sunday. We will be working with high school aged youth teaching them how to be leaders in their own communities. 

Romania has been what I expected but is very different from Canada. Most the people are nice but don’t have the same manners that we expect in the Western world. I still can’t believe I’m not in Canada anymore. 

Over the last week I have become more focused on God, strengthened in my faith and am ready to serve God. I have never done this before so I don’t know what to expect or if I have the skill to do what is expected of me but I know that it is not about me and that God has control. Through Him I can do anything, He  is my strength and it is only by Him that I can do these things.

I’m looking forward to the next month to see what God is going to show me and  how the life’s of the people I meet will be changed.

I am still in need of $7500 by December to be fully funded for the 11 months. If the money doesn’t come in I will have to go home. I’m praying that doesn’t happen. I know that I’m meant to be here and that God has plans to use me. I thank God for being the wonderful provider that He is. He tells me not to worry and that he is faithful in His promises.
