Saying good bye to Thai people and Thai food and Thai beaches was hard. Saying goodbye to the Thai weather was eezy peezy lemon sqeezy. Now me and my other seis compadres have been living it up in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. We have been living in a house with 19 orphaned kids who range from 4 to 16 years of age. It’s practically a circus act from 6:30 am till I lay myself down to sleep. They call me brother Bino. They are so full of joy and love and they truly have been a huge blessing.
God also gave us the chance to be apart of a church called kingdom city for a few weeks. After one of the services we ended up meeting one of the coolest guys in the world Abel who invited us to do street ministry with a group in KL. Being able to go up to people God put on our path and be able to pray for them and bless them has been an amazing experience. It’s made me realize how regularly it should occur and how much I’ve been holding back from giving people an encounter with God.
God is solidifying his goodness in me. He is teaching me what it looks like to fully surrender.
It takes full surrenderance in order to let God come into every aspect of your life, to open up the door and say hear I am God have your way. Once that happens fear, shame, guilt everything not of God no longer matters.
Fear of rejection. Fear of persecution. Fear of things but we don’t know why or what it is. Feeling guilty for past sins. Feeling ashamed of who we are or who we were. The feeling of who would want us or that we are useless all those things originating from the pit of hell. Satan himself makes it his personal mission to see all the above happen. All that completely transformed into things of Christ.
It takes surrendering all that we are, every fiber and every moment of every day giving it all to him. God asks us to turn away from something we were never created to be and to let him take the wheel and to let him mold us and to guid us to fulfill what we were created to do.
We expect that if we pray sometimes and get in the word that we are set. When life hits us we get upset and don’t turn to him then when good things happen we come back to him or the exact opposite. We then proceed to coast like nobody’s business. This is the definition of lukewarm. God despises lukewarm. He spits lukewarm out of his mouth. He says hot or cold. We are called to be on fire! Surrendered to him fully, not letting anything stand in the way between you and what he has planned.
We leave for Botswana really soon I cannot wait to see what God has planned for me next in my journey with him. And what better place to finish the race in arguably my favorite continent. So everybody buckle up. Because BRO……… were goin to Africa !
