I think we can all honestly say The World Race isn’t what we
expected. Some of us had expectations, while some of us had no idea what to
expect. And regardless, we’re coming to a place where we have an idea what this
journey might really entail.
But let me tell you, this is EXACTLY what the Lord
envisioned. He saw it
all, before we started this race. The Lord is with us, and He put us
together for a reason
See for me, its taken a while for reality to set in. I talked so long about going on this trip and
prepping for it. Once it finally arrived and started, it was like information
overload for my mind, emotions, and spirit. There was no time to transition out of
the 9-5 job, and there’s never enough time to say goodbye to family and
friends. My world was thrown upside down immediately when we landed in Sophia, and I
had to lead the way. Its a miracle I didnt pee my pants.
The Lord has started breaking me down, but it doesn’t surprise
me. Sure it’s hard and stresses me out at times. The reality is, He’s not done.
But you see, the Lord
is ready to build something.
“Come, let us return to the Lord;
for he has torn us, that he may heal us; he has struck us down, and he will
bind us up.” -Hosea 1:6
YOU guys, God wants to build new things within us and a
through us. Will you let Him do it?
I will. I’m choosing in.
I’m ready to do and work for the Living God, whatever He wants. Let’s
run this race with purpose and endurance. And let us not grow weary of doing
good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9)
What do you want to reap this year?
(what do you want to see God do?)
- Do you want to see souls
reconciled back to God? Share Him. - Do you want to develop
a hunger and thirst for Christ and His righteousness? Consecrate yourself. - Do you want a renewed
mind through the Word? Read it.
Be bold and courageous. Run hard after God. Study His word.
Live it. Share it. Let’s do it together.
“The aim of our charge
is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere
faith.” (1 Timothy 1:5)
i am committed to loving you.
let’s do this.
