“So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
(Isaiah 41:10)
Greetings from St. John’s Providence Hospital. Doctors are trying to decided if my Dad needs to put a stint in his heart or start a bypass procedure. They are keeping him overnight. Please pray.
Through all this, I feel like God is asking, “Do you trust Me?” What other choice to I have but to say “Yes?” What’s even worse is that the Lord has also reminded me of Matthew 10:37: “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me[…]”
Have you ever just wanted to say, “Yikes Lord, harsh!”
But you know what? I trust God. I love God. I know God, and He is good. He always does what’s best for me. I can trust Him.
We launch for this journey in less than a month. Good thing I’m learning to live in the present.
Would you please pray for me and my family? Pray that the Lord would provide the hospital staff with wisdom and understanding.
