Just wanted to give me supporters an update on how fundraising has been going:
Honestly, for a few weeks, maybe even a month, it was REALLY slow, but this past week has been absolutely incredible. After the yard sale we had, along with many other GENEROUS donations, I have reached my first financial deadline! Thank you so much everyone!
In fact, this week went so well, I already have a head start on my next deadline. So thanks for the prayers and keep 'em comin!
If you are new to this blog and are wondering what this is all about: I will be traveling with a group of other missionaries to 11 different countries for 11 months starting in September. In each country, we wil be hooking up with a ministry on the ground and simply serving the people there. Churches, clinics, rehab centers, we could see just about anything. I do have to raise support for this mission trip, a total of $15,500 to be exact.
This was a good week, but I still have a LONG way to go, so any support is greatly appreciated. It is so cool to know how many people are already a part of what God is doing, and to think of how many people could potentially be involved. So again, thank you for your giving hearts, and the people I serve overseas will thank you too!
