You guys are unreal! You have loved us and cared for us so well… and all I can say is that I am overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with gratitude. Overwhelmed with love. Overwhelmed by the blessing you are in our lives.
At this very moment on June 25th Colin and I have $21,910 in our World Race account.
Do you know what that means?? That means you all have blown our original fundraising goal of $19,000 out of the water!!!!
We are completely undeserving of this gift and cannot express how thankful we are for you. God has used your crazy generous hearts to bless and encourage us in more ways than you’ll ever know. You have helped affirm the call God has spoken to us to meet and serve His children all over the world and we could not be more grateful!
The way you have cared and shown love to us is such a beautiful example of what we hope to share in the countries we are about to serve. Thank you for showing us what it means to be willing and open to God's calling. We will be diligent in sharing the stories of how God is using your support to reach the nations!

***A special note to our monthly donors and those still wanting to give***
Thank you dearly for your heart to continue to support us while we are away. We want to be fully transparent with all of you about our financial needs. As stated in our letter, the cost to go on the World Race is $31,000 that is paid to Adventures in Missions (plus an additional $3,000-4,000 for gear, immunization, and insurance that we have already paid for).
As we have reached approximately $22,000 in our account, there is still a need for $9,000 to be paid to Adventures in Missions. Colin and I were expecting and are prepared to pay the remaining amount out of our savings. However, for those of you that have pledged future monthly donations or have not had a chance to contribute yet, please know that your contributions are a welcomed blessing. We would still love for you to be involved and partner in this mission with us in this way!! We will have plenty of needs for our savings when we arrive back in the states job-less and home-less 🙂
On the other hand, after realizing that we have met our original goal, if you need to end or decrease your monthly donations, we also completely understand! We would love for you to feel free to give elsewhere and spread the love to other people and ministries if you feel called.
Either way please be advised that our funding deadline is December 31, 2013. So please be sure to end all monthly donations during or before December of this year. After that, all donations go to a general fund for the World Race.

Thank you ALL again for the love and excitement and encouragement you have shown to Colin and to me. You have no idea how it has blessed us. Leaving our friends, family, jobs, church, gym, comfort, everything… is very scary and your affirmation in what we are doing is the greatest gift of all.
