Jeanette has stage 4 Breast Cancer…the ugly cancer has spread from the
breast to the bone, to the liver & is now in the bone marrow. July 2
she fell & broke her back, since she had to stop Chemo to do
surgery on the back…she elected to have surgery on the fracture in her
left knee (she had been walking with a walker for 1 1/2 years, because
they didn’t want to stop Chemo to do surgery on it)..so July 21 she had a
plate & screws put into her knee.
bleeds…using up all her platelets..Since May she has had nearly 30
tranfussions of blood & platelets. That is when they discovered her
body just would not make platelets…so they tested and discovered the
cancer in the bone marrow.
the bone marrow & then they will attack the liver again with a
different type of Chemo. The Dr. is very blunt that this is going to be
very very difficult on Jeanette. We should all pray that this Chemo is
the one…
She is in the Rehibilitation part of the hospital, in a
removable body brace, a brace on her leg and foot, a brace on her left
wrist ….she is doing the unthinkable in therapy, she is so
determined. Friday, she will be sent to the Onocology part of the
hospital for more Chemo …again…once a week. Then brought back to the
rehibilitation part of the hospital on Monday for therapy.
with us for almost 2 years. She wants to go to her own HOME so badly.

is frightened & was doing fantastic until they discovered the
cancer in the bone marrow… Now she crys all the time & is very
depressed…altho she does her 4 hours of therapy a day, or the
Insurance would not allow her to stay in Therapy.
