We stood in a crowd of thousands of people. Faces from all around the world, Korean and Cambodians alike lifting their hands to their Creator, worshiping our Lord and Savior. We celebrated unity, love and joy in Spirit, at LOVE SONATA. A concert hosted by Korean pastors from all around the world. Some pastor in the USA and others in their home towns.
We were welcomed by the smile brigade, each man and woman holding a sign reading “God bless you” in Kheimi and English. The Soccer field had been turned into a concert arena, chairs lined up in sections on the grass, a huge stage with big lights, screens and cameras decked the front. We soaked up the worship, celebrating a piece of what Heaven will be like… people from every tongue, tribe and nation praising our Savior. By the end, we were handed glow sticks and the crowd went wild with joy as we jumped, danced and sang.
This brought back memories of our time at Night Vision in July, that had started this journey for us. Crowds gathered, people singing and the Spirit being present, filling the place and the people with His glory.
A Korean pastor stood at the pulpit commissioning Cambodia to go into the world and preach the good news, he declared blessings over Cambodia and as they were blessed they were to go into their surrounding Countries and bless them. He commissioned Cambodia to bless Thailand, to bless Japan and to bless Malaysia.
One pastor told us his church back home has sent out over 1,000 missionaries from their congregation of 60,000. That is more than 10%! Amazing!
What a pleasure it was was to participate in this big event with our students and friends from the Weslian Bible Church.
