I have learned that when you pray a dangerous prayer, like open my eyes to the ministries around me everyday… you see things that break your heart. After praying this we discovered a brothel neighbors the church we are ministering in this month. This opened my eyes to new prayers and new sorrows this month. This is going to be a month of deep, heavy prayers!
We are teaching English as a team to two different classes Monday through Friday. We play soccer on the weekends and lead youth group and bible study as well. This gives us great opportunities to make new friends with our students as well as time to spend with our team.
I believe that the Lord has called us to open our eyes and see the unseen. I believe there is ministry all around us if we are willing to see the open doors. When time was on our hands, we started asking the Lord and others how we could serve. Slowly we have all seen doors to walk through. Please pray that this month we will be open to all opportunities, as He directs us in new ways.
Please pray also that we will continue to bond as a family. We have a wonderful team full of men and women that love the Lord. We are walking this journey together and learning how better to love while living in a community.
