Dancing
as ONE!
We are here in Bloemfontein, South Africa
as you know and I can tell you, this month is AMAZING!!! This is not a month
for us to minister but to be ministered to! God has set us up with John and
Melody, our contacts/hosts, who are taking us through some thick classes and
teaching us so much more of the things of God! Their friendship is life changing alone!
Well, last Sunday, they brought us to their
church in town. This church is one of the most Spirit filled churches that I
have EVER been to! The Holy Spirit was
strong in that place and I have to share with you that happened with me!
Before we get into that, I want to remind
you of the vision that I had while I was in Mmanga Village, just north of
Beira, Mozambique last month. I was going
crazy and dancing with Jesus, just He and I! Well, this time, it was much
more than that!
Sunday morning, just before the preaching,
the pastor kept simply mentioning ‘God’s heart’ here and there and hearing
those two words, ‘God’s heart’ made me go crazy before the Lord!!! More and
more tears were running down my face every time he said, ‘God’s heart’. It was as I could literally SEE IT right in front of
me! Next, two women got up and prophetically danced to a song with ribbons. The
song kept repeating over and over, “Sweep me away in your love; nothing else
matters.� That GOT ME!!!! That is the desire of my heart and I was singing that
exact thing deep down in my soul!!! I want to be swept away in His love because
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!!! The tears were REALLY rolling down my face by then as I
just kept telling God how much I loved Him!!! I told Him over and over and over
and was just getting washed in it!!! He was sweeping me away in His love!!! Then,
the preacher got up and started talking about Zechariah. A day or two before,
God told me to go read through Zechariah and that was part of it! That’s why
God brought me to Zech!!!! THEN, we started to worship the Lord! The first song
was not one that I had ever heard before…. This song was talking of what God’s love does to us!!!! At one
point, the lyrics were just “LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE� (just read over that
slowly and say it out loud and watch what it does to you!) It was doing that
exact thing to me RIGHT THERE!!!! I then found myself dancing, jumping up and
down, beating my chest before the Lord, and I couldn’t control myself at all!!!
What a refreshing time of worshipping the Lord!!! There is SO MUCH JOY in the
presence of our Daddy!!! His presence is SWEET!!!! I finally said, “God, dance
with me! DANCE WITH ME!!!!�
Once again, I saw yet ANOTHER VISION!!!!
Picture this: You are in a small room. The
lights are down low and you find yourself looking across the room. You see Jesus. You notice that no one
else is there but you and He. There is no music playing but you begin to dance
anyways. Your feet are moving violently across the floor, stomping as you shake
your body to the rhythm of this melody called silence. It is your only desire to dance with Jesus, nothing else. There is
intensity in your eyes as you watch your Savior dancing with you. Your desires
are heightened as you dance and find yourself moving closer and closer to
Jesus. Before you know it, you are dancing right in front of each other. You
have lost the violence in your dance; you are now dancing as a mirror image of
Jesus. You dance. You are amazed at
every movement because your dance looks just like His. You dance smoothly
across the floor and after a period of dancing as one, you are suddenly about
six years old. You are no longer on the dance floor; your feet are on top of His.
Your arms are wrapped around his legs with the tightest grip, determined to
never let go. You grasp his pants and hold on, pulling them as tight as you can
in your hands with all your might. Jesus continues to move around the room as
if a father was dancing with his child. When His foot glides, your foot glides
with a beauty unimaginable. You are desperate to feel every movement as He
leads the way. You dance the night away for a few more minutes and then all of
a sudden, He looks down to see your heart longs to stay and tenderly lifts you
from His legs. At this moment, you are transformed to three years old. Jesus
takes you, gently lies you across His chest, and lays your head in between His
neck and shoulder. As you clench your arms around his neck, you can feel His
heart beat. You feel His breath over you as His chest rises and falls. This is unlike anything that you had ever
felt before. Your soul is at peace. You find yourself resting in the arms of
the Father as He dances with delight in you. A few minutes later, you realize
that you can see, feel, and even experience something more! With your body laid
against His, you continue to feel His heart beat and His breath remains over
you. Instantaneously, you become a one year old as you raise your head to look
into His eyes. At this time, an unknown feeling comes over you. It’s not the
feeling that you felt when you looked into His eyes, but the feeling that
overcame you when He immediately peered into yours! It is an instant connection
of Spirits as it flows from His eyes to yours. It is as if you are looking at
His heart, no longer only feeling it. You
are finally seeing everything through His eyes and experiencing what He desires,
a mere longing just to dance with you. This is the most intimate connection
yet! All the while, you lock eyes and dance and dance across the room as if
there is no time, nothing to do but dance as you stared into each other’s eyes.
Nothing else matters but the fact
that you are dancing with your Father.
THAT is what I saw!!!
I LOVE how I got younger with each step of
faith closer to His heart!!! Well, after a bit of dancing with the Lord, I
boldly asked, “God, which one of these am I?� God said to me, “You are the 6 year old, holding on to my
legs so tight! That is you! See, you have SO MUCH MORE TO TASTE!!!!!� Guys,
you will know what I mean when I say this but I am glad that I am not on His
chest or staring into His eyes at this moment because that means that where I
am now, feeling a sense of desperation with all that I am, means there is SO MUCH MORE TO
EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!! SO MUCH MORE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, SO
MUCH MORE LOVE, SO MUCH MORE OF HIS HEART TO EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU JESUS!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU WITH ALL
OF EVERYTHING THAT I HAVE!!!!!!!! I LOVE THE WAY YOU LET ME LATCH ON AND YOU
DANCE WITH ME!!!!!! I LOVE THE WAY YOU LEAD ME!!!!!! I LOVE FELLING YOUR HEART
BEAT!!!!!!! I LOVE FEELING YOUR EVERY BREATH!!!!!! I LOVE LOOKING INTO YOUR EYES!!!!!!!! I LOVE THE WAY YOU LOVE
ME!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE
YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God was showing me this progression and
giving me a picture of where we ARE going!!!!!
My
desire and prayer is that you see, feel, and experience God as He desires to
dance with you today, whether it be in your
bedroom, while teaching a class at school, replacing an engine at the shop or
in corporate worship! Ask for it and experience His love! Watch what it does to
you!!!
