Beira,
Mozambique

Well, as you have probably been wondering, I am now in
Mozambique. We are about 27 miles North West of Beira in a little village.

We are paired with a man named Peter who was struck blind at
the age of 16 while he had the measles. Peter has a HUGE heart for these people
and operates with no income. He relies totally on the Lord to provide each and
every need and He provides it well!!! God’s faithfulness proves again!!! When
we are faithful in His word and obedient with what the Lord tells us, He honors
that! Well, Peter ministers to the orphans and widows, prisoners, the people at
the hospital and also does evangelism in the villages. This is GREAT because
Peter is teaching us to see without seeing….

They people here are so warming and even the babies give us
mangos! They prepare a bucket of warm water for us to shower with and cold
water! Peter told us when we got here, “You have your culture and we have ours.
You do what makes you comfortable, and we will operate in unity for the
advancement of the Gospel. Nothing else matters. What a BLESSING to hear!!!!

We have already had the privilege of ministering to some of
the orphans, hospital patients and even do a bit of village evangelism. It has
been a great experience and I see much more to come!!!

Pray for us as we seek for these people to encounter the
heart of the abundantly faithful King over these next 4 weeks!

Love,

PS: We are 27 miles (1 hour drive) from internet, so e-mails
and blogs will probably be slim to none….
