For many of you who are looking at this blog you are a follower of Jesus and have a understanding of the word missionary however I hope that this blog reaches farther then just ‘Christians’. Many people drop their lives because of the True meaning of this word. They give up everything they ever knew to live for this meaning. She might quit her job and move across states, countries, or continents. He might move his family from the suburbs to the slums across town. College students might graduate, travel for 11 months, and live out of one backpack. A kid you know might give up his or her lunch for weeks to allow someone else to eat.
What causes someone to act in such selflessness? What causes someone to love somebody they have never met? What causes someone to not only radically change themselves but everything else in their life?
