What happen during month 3? Glad you asked, because I will never forget month three. Let me introduce you to a place called REMAR.

This is an orphanage in a beach town called El Tunco about 45 minutes outside San Salvador. This was my home for the entire month. I lived in the baby house, so there was always something happening. There were about 70 kids at the orphanage, and they had a school for the community as well as their kids, a farm with a garden and animals, and a store on the property.

Every morning I would wake up at 4:45am, and take care of these guys. We had a couple hundred to feed, water, and clean their pins. It was early, but chickens got to eat sometime. So why not 5AM?. We would also feed my beautiful pig, Delicious. She was about 650 pounds of pure love. She didn’t get out much, but when she did, she always greeted me with a smile. HAHA

This particular month consisted of many types of ministry. Everyday, I would start the day on the farm and finish the day doing farm or construction. In between farm and construction, I would do devotionals with each class at the school, cook in the kitchen, do the kids laundry, or find myself doing more construction projects. Haha

We worked more then 12 hour days, with breaks here and there. It was a different pace then usual, but the workers were few. The ones that were there, were tired because they do this everyday. So my team was there to help assist them in whatever way we could. We did our best to give them breaks, and also send them away for a night and let us run things. It was a good opportunity.

My favorite part of the month had to be leading worship in kids church. Thats right! I can lead on the guitar now and kinda sing. Kinda. ha  I also had a lot of fun teaching devotionals throughout the week, and getting to know the local kids. It was a great month.

I also was able to climb some pretty intense rocks, cliff jump, and hang out in some waterfalls.

El Salvador was fun! Thank you all or your your prayers and support.
