At the beginning of 2013, I remember praying, sharing goals, and casting visions with a friend for the New Year while eating at IHOP(the best place to dream on late nights when avoiding homework…just saying). That night I remember feeling like God was going to do something big in August. At the time, I had no idea what was going to happen or why I felt that way. But I do remember feeling so strongly about it.  Secretly, if I am being completely honest, I thought that maybe this would be the month that I met my wife, but as we can see that didn't happen…haha. Instead, August was the month I got my acceptance for the World Race. Last January, I would have never guessed that I would finish college and start the year of 2014 on a race to share the gospel while experiencing God in 11 countries for an entire year.

While this Journey is exciting, it’s a journey I know that I am not suppose to take alone. So I am asking you, my friends and family, to take the journey with me. I believe this year will be full of great things, but I also know that there will be trials that come up. That being said, I need your prayer and support. I will be writing in my blog weekly to keep you updated and informed with all that is happening on the race. My team name is “All Out…,” because as a team of seven people, we plan to go “All out” each month and leave each country knowing that we gave it all with no regrets.

Along with your prayers, if you feel led to support my race, I am still in need of money to make it through all 11 months. From the time I was accepted in August, I have known that this is a journey that God has trusted me with and that He would make a way to fully fund it. Right now I have $7,700, because of the love and support of you. Thank you all for that support. However, I am still $8,550 short of being fully funded for the entire year. I know that if I am anything in the world today, it is first because of God, and secondly because of the people He placed in my life. While I will be gone next year, I hope you will choose to take this journey with me and follow my blog. Thank you for all of your past and future support.
