Our living conditions this last month were so peculiar we just have to share them with all of you. So here is a short rendition of “cribs”, Thai style.
Thailand was an interesting month. Our homes consisted of our tents atop platforms to protect us from flooding when the heavy rain came. We were happy to see the rain nearly every night as there is only one temperature in Thailand: HOT!
We would wake to find that the rain had beckoned scorpions and other bugs from their hiding places. We even spotted a few snakes.
The irony is that we opened our tents and could jump right into our very own pool. Yes, we had a pool… and wifi. I know, it is not quite like Idaho camping.
