I’m about to go incognito.
In just a few days I will go with my “tour” group to Hong
Kong and then a few days later into interior China. While there I anticipate having the
opportunity to meet a number of college students during a Cultural Exchange
Program. I may also have an opportunity
to work with a Relief Team (at this very moment there’s a severe hurricane
bearing down on the Eastern Coast).

There are always some communication concerns going into a
place like China
and all the more since they are preparing to host the 2008 Summer
Olympics. All that to say that my
communication with those of you that are following me will be severely limited
over the next few weeks. We anticipate
having somewhat better accessibility to the internet while in Hong Kong
at the beginning and ending of our trek but not so much in the middle.

Be thinking about us (and talk to our Dad about us) as we
have these amazing opportunities ahead of us.
We are hoping to go to the Capital near the end of our tour and see
firsthand some of the Olympic preparations as well as such famous sites such as
The Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and The Forbidden City.

I will miss writing more regularly but will look forward all
the more to catching up on things in person in about 43 days!
