Yesterday was one of the best days of not only my time here in Guatemala but also one of the best days of my life. In order for you to try and understand my day I will break it down:
 
6:00 am
Woke up to a beautiful Guatemalan sunrise.
 
6:20 am
Great early morning workout consisting of pushups and pull-ups.
 
8:15am
Started my alone time with God where I do every morning, and totally get rocked by the Holy Spirit.

Where I try and spend every morning
 
10:00am
Head to our school in San Padre to finish painting our mural/ teach VBS.
 
10:20am
Step off the bus and am meet by an intoxicated man asking for money.
 
10:21am
After talking to him my team and I end up laying hands on and praying for him.
 
11:00am
Finish working on the mural enjoying the company of my teammates.

12:00pm
Fall asleep to my teammate Cheyanne playing the guitar while we waited for the children to show up.
 
1:30pm
Played soccer with my teammates and the students.
 
2:45pm
Ran a VBS with my team, including me singing solo to “The Wise Man Built His House Upon The Sand” (thanks team).
 
4:20pm
Stopped by an ice cream shop on the way home from the school and got ice cream and frozen chocolate bananas.
 
6:00pm
Headed to an orphanage with the rest of my squad to have a pizza party with the orphans.
 
7:00pm
Completely get a broken heart for the kids of the orphanage as they sing for us and thank us for coming.
 
8:00pm
Dance party breaks out at the orphanage including the guys of my squad and some of the girls to dance, while having the kids ride on their shoulders.

10:00pm
Have a couple deep one-on-one conversations with a couple of my squad members, helping each other grow more in our walks with God.
 
12:00am
Crash in my tent with a big smile on my face for a little reading and journaling time.
 
 
So in a nutshell that was one of the best days that I have had in my 23-year life and I had to share it with all of you.
