So we arrive in Santo Domingo on the 5th and it was a really cool city.  Lots going on for sure.  We stayed in a really nice church recreation center called Casa San Pablo there.  I was really sad to leave the states and my tummy apparently was really sad too.  The night before I left I was really sick and that just kinda continued for a few days.  I really really want to thank my daddy, momma and awesome friend Maggie for helping me pack (or packing for me).  Such a blessing to have family and friends that love me so well.

In Santo Domingo (when I wasn’t sick) we were doing a lot of training for what it’s going to be like as a team leader.  We also did training with our finance people to learn what that role is too.  The time there was great and pretty relaxing.  At times I was just ready for ministry to start and to just jump in.  But looking back that time was amazing to just all be together and loving on each other in preparation for the tasks ahead.
We also had an amazing adventure day on Sunday.  We got to go the beach – clear skies and water and white sand.  It was local beach so there were lots of locals very interested in the huge of Americanos that pulled up.
I’ll post some pictures of the beach and some others later!  It’s really hard to get blog time in! 🙂  I’ll also get more in to what my team is doing in ministry in San Juan.  It’s really great and God’s really good!  I have some fun stories already!  Love all of you so much and thank you for praying!
