I have been so beyond blessed this year. I’ve lived in DC surrounded by amazing friends and fun history for most it. I have been preparing for this adventure for the past three months now. It’s absolutely insane how God has provided for me. I am fully funded. Let me reiterate… I (or the Lord) raised almost $15,000 in just 6 weeks. I cannot thank all of the amazing donors enough. It’s been a crazy humbling experience that has shown me how good our God is, especially when he wants you to do something! The funding has not been the only blessing. Everything seems to be falling into place so well and I have only the Lord to thank and prayers from my family and friends. God is so good and faithful and today I want to remember that so much. He is good enough to have sent His Son to us, to live among us and as a person. And for that Son that died on the cross to redeem me and you.
I also wanted to let all of you know that as I have been so fortunate, other people going on my trip have not. Please prayerfully consider supporting other people on my squad. They are amazing and even though I haven’t spent that much time with them, they are already like family to me. I would be so upset if just one of them couldn’t go anymore.
