It’s my second day back at work and my head and my heart just
can’t get away from everything that happened last week.  I was at training
in White, GA for my trip.  I got to meet the most amazing men and women
that I will be traveling with and I can’t believe what the Lord is doing
already.  He has totally broken all of us just to love each other that
much more and better!  And HOLY MOLY, it
made me so excited for this adventure.
If the Holy Spirit can move that much in a week then my mind cannot
fathom what He’s going to be doing in 11 months.

Things that really resonated at training camp:

1. There is FREEDOM IN CHRIST.  WOO HOOO!!!

This is such a passion of
mine and I was so beyond thankful when it was one of the first topics that       was spoken on.  Believing in God does not
come with a rule book of dos and don’ts.
There is freedom to live as Christ created you to live and you don’t
have to apologize for it.  We just strive
to live as Jesus did!  1 John 2:6

2. There is FREEDOM in HONESTY with FRIENDS.

I learned SO much from the
amazing people I’m going to be going on this journey with.  Especially how much freedom there is in
telling your struggles and your sin when you know that they will LOVE you SO
MUCH through those things and help you get through them.   We were and are really challenging each
other to see each other as Christ sees us and not the crap that we go
through.

3.       3.  It’s okay to jump around, dance and yell in WORSHIP, but it’s also
okay to sit still in the presence of God.

Feeling
freedom in the ways you worship is so valuable.
It’s okay to jump around, it’s okay to head bang, it’s okay to raise
your hands, it’s okay to just sing, it’s okay to stand still.  Our Lord wants you to worship Him and worship
Him in the way that you are showing Him the MOST value.

This past week was absolutely amazing.  I LOVE my new family so much and I cannot
wait to go dig deeper in those friendships and in our relationship with God as
He reveals Himself through things I never really thought were possible.

One thing that I do want to share with you is something that a teammate of mine spoke over me.  He said that he saw a light bulb and it was on and it was shining, but then it turned of and a door was open and there was the sun, shining so much brighter than I can imagine.  I know this is how my relationship with God is going to be.  Right now I have a light on and it’s good, but it’s going to be turned off and the Lord is going to show me His sun and it’s going to be SO much brighter and better than the stupid light bulb!!  Woah.  I can’t wait!

As you’re reading this, I pray that YOU know WHO YOU ARE in
Christ.  That He reveals to you that you
are precious, beautiful and righteous to Him.
You are NOT your shame, your insecurities or anything else that plagues
you.  Live free because he died and rose
so we can be dead to our sin to LIVE in Him!!

And woah – I don’t usually talk like this!
