Words cannot describe how thankful I am…for those who have donated, lent a listening ear, bestowed bits of advice, relentlessly prayed, shared their stories and the list goes on…
Several of you are well aware of my love for Mumford & Sons (my roommate thinks I need help).I just can't help myself. It's their lyrics, melodies, beards, and suspenders that I can't get enough of. I'll never forget Beale Street Music Fest 2011; Mumford & Sons front row and center with three of the greatest friends.
I could not wait for their second album to drop and it did this past September (of course I had it pre-ordered). Needless to say, I had it on repeat for a solid three months. Since answering my call to become a World Racer, I get so much more out of each song. One in particular stuck out to me a few weeks ago and I cannot get it out of my head. "Below My Feet" embraces so much of how I hope to learn from this experience.

Side note: It was awesome to learn that Marcus Mumford's mom was a missionary…"so you're saying there's a chance!" Dumb & Dumber anyone??
