So last night we had a fantastic spaghetti supper that in total raised $3,443! I was in tears of joy when we put together the total. This supper was only meant to raise awareness of what I would be doing next year, and we were concerned that we may not even break even. Looking at the numbers it had brought my grand total to $11,783. Then, this morning I was told that someone had approached my mom, and they had told her that they wanted to cover the rest. This was one of the biggest blessings I have ever received. I have seen the grace of God overwhelmingly in the past 24 hours. So technically we are done fundraising!!! I would like to thank all of you for your endless prayers and donations, each of you reading this, and so many more are such blessings in my life. This fundraising process has taught me so much about the grace of God as well as others. There are still many more on my team who have yet to meet their goal. If you felt called to donate to me, and haven’t had the chance, I invite you to donate to my fellow teammates. They are all such wonderful people, and God has truly blessed me with the opportunity to spend 9 whole months traveling with them. We are now focusing on purchasing equipment for my trip, as well as getting the rest of the requirements met. I ask for you all to pray for my family and me as we finish out this school year and begin a summer of preparation.
